Sankofa Works is our industrial division, the engine of the group. Our inaugural operation is a toilet paper manufacturing and rewinding facility in Bissau: Guinea-Bissau’s first locally-produced consumer tissue operation, sold under our Softy brand.
We acquire large-format jumbo rolls at wholesale rates, then rewind, package, and distribute finished consumer and institutional products domestically. A proven, low-complexity model with exceptional import substitution upside in a market that currently imports nearly 100% of its consumer tissue.

Sankofa Resorts is developing a premium bungalow resort on Bubaque Island and a flagship luxury resort on Cabra Island, establishing Guinea-Bissau as a serious destination for high-value eco-tourism from Europe, the Americas, and across Africa.
